THE GREAT GENTLEMEN OF SONG

The International Guest Artist Series at Saddleback College opens its 2007/2008 season with The Four Freshmen on Sunday, September 16 at 3:00 p.m. This dynamic group brings that same unmistakable sound of the original group – a vocal harmony like no other – to the McKinney Theatre stage. The Four Freshmen have strongly influenced many groups over the years including, Take Six, Manhattan Transfer and the Beach Boys. In the 22nd incarnation of the group, the only Four Freshmen touring, their longevity proves they are doing it right. They perform Freshmen hits but they also present some of their own favorites blended with audience-pleasing magnetism and humor.

The charismatic ensemble plays their own instruments as they sing. They are some of the best young jazz vocalists in the business. “Whether you know them from then or from now, that harmony is definitely designed to send chills down the spine…and it never fails. --The Truth.







The International Guest Artist Series is made possible through the fundraising efforts of the Angels for the Arts, a support organization for the performing arts.


Tickets can be purchased by calling (949) 582-4656 or online at www.sclo.org. Ticket prices are $32 general; $30 students/seniors/Angels; $28 children 12 and under and Saddleback College students with current ASG card. Saddleback College is located at 28000 Marguerite Pkwy in Mission Viejo , just east of Interstate 5 at the Avery Parkway exit. Parking is available in Lot 12. Take Avery Parkway to Marguerite Parkway turn left to the third traffic light, which is Saddleback’s Marguerite entrance. Turn right into the campus and take the third left to “ Theatre Circle ,” turning right into Lot 12.
