Swartzennedy appoints Sterling to CUSL

According to the California Governor’s Press Office, Nathaniel Sterling, 61, of Palo Alto, has been appointed to the Commission on Uniform State Laws. He has served on the commission since February 2007. Sterling worked for the California Law Revision Commission from 1970 to 2006, where he held the positions of attorney and then executive secretary. Prior to that, he was a reference clerk for the Government Documents Library at the University of California, Berkeley from 1965 to 1967. Sterling is a former member of the University of California, Davis School of Law Alumni Board.

You may recall that the CotoBuzz Journal lobbied for/against a number of HOA/CID bills – Since the governor turned Republicrat, the legislation we opposed passed , and the legislation we approved was rejected. Is anyone surprised that this position does not require Senate confirmation and that Sterling is a Democrat?
