Many are called, one will be chosen (OC Sheriff), Coto’s Martin in the Race

The official search to find a replacement for former OC Sheriff Michael Carona is in its infancy and there are already at least seven declared contenders, including interim Sheriff Jack Anderson and Sheriff Carona’s nemesis Bill Hunt.

Corruption, ethical management, transparency, civilian oversight and relations with the Orange County Board of Supervisors seem to top the agenda, over public safety and terrorism – a good measuring stick for public servants in Orange County.

Of the seven candidates, at least four have launched their own websites in pursuit of the Orange County’s Plum Job:
