Coto de Caza, CA - at around 9:30 Sunday morning, several Orange County Sheriff patrol cars, were dispatched to the Coto de Caza Golf Club Center. A few minutes latter several OCSD officers had high powered rifles drawn, and a few minutes latter, a suspect, identified by the OCSD spokesperson Jeff Hallock as Mark Minkoff, was handcuffed while two officers had their high powered weapons aimed at Minkoff
Minkoff, arrested for negligently discharging a fire arm, is being held on $25,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow. Additional charges, such as DUI may follow, according to Officer Hallock.
The suspect is a male Caucasian, blond hair and beard, approximately 175-200 pounds, wearing shorts. He could easily pass as a golf club patron.
