Steven Davy, Suspect in Mission Viejo Home-Invasion Robbery Arrested

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – According to Lt. Jeff Hallock, on Tuesday, September 2, 2014, Orange County Sheriff’s investigators arrested Steven Tyler Davy, 30, Anaheim, in connection with a robbery that occurred at a residence in the 23300 block of Via Linda, Mission Viejo.
On Friday, August 22, 2014, Davy is accused of forcing open the front door of the residence and confronting the 82 year old female victim while she was lying in bed watching television. Davy is accused of ransacking several bedrooms in the residence taking several jewelry items and coins. Based on the investigation it was determined that Davy is the boyfriend of the victim’s daughter.
Davy was arrested and booked into Orange County Jail, currently being held without bail for a probation violation from a 2012 case. Davy was charged with robbery and burglary by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
