Victor Perrin, Buena Park Real Estate Agent Arrested For Taking Down Proposition Signs and threatening Man.

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA - Victor Perry, a real estate agent was arrested yesterday for illegally taking down ballot proposition signs and threatening a man with a knife. 

According to the district attorney's office, (OCDA) Victor Chevalier Perrin, 50, Buena Park, is charged with one felony count of dissuading a witness by force or threat, one felony count of brandishing a deadly weapon, one misdemeanor count of petty theft, one misdemeanor count of receiving stolen property, and a sentencing enhancement for the personal use of a deadly weapon. 

At the time of the crime, Perrin was a licensed real estate agent in the State of California.
On March 13, 2015, Perrin is accused of illegally taking down signs from a chain link fence, in support of Measure A, which is up for a vote next month, to block condominium developments in the City of Buena Park. John Doe was driving home and stopped his vehicle when he saw what the defendant was doing and attempted to use his cell phone to take a picture of the defendant.

Perrin is accused of approaching John Doe's vehicle, grabbing the victim's cell phone, and throwing it over the fence into a vacant lot. As the victim exited his vehicle, the defendant is accused of brandishing a knife and threatening John Doe. Perrin is accused of driving away from the scene with the signs.

The victim drove away in his vehicle unharmed to a neighbor's house and contacted the Buena Park Police Department (BPPD), who investigated this case.
BPPD arrested Perrin yesterday, April 7, 2015, on an arrest warrant filed on March 30, 2015.
Deputy District Attorney Jess Rodriguez of the Special Prosecution Unit is prosecuting this case.
