Alma Martinez charged with elder abuse – OCDA seeks help in officer-involved shooting involving Martinez, in Santa Ana May 24

Rancho Sants Msrgarita, CA -  Alma Alicia Martinez, 27, Santa Ana was charged today with one felony count of attempted carjacking, one felony count of second degree robbery, three felony counts of aggravated assault, one felony count of attempted second degree burglary, and two felony counts of elder and dependent adult abuse with sentencing enhancement allegations for the personal use of a knife, according to announcement by the Orange County Dsitrict Attorney’s (OCDA) office




Martinez is scheduled for a continued arraignment tomorrow, May 27, 2016, at 8:30 a.m. in Department C-55, Central Justice Center, Santa Ana.


The Orange County District Attorney's Officer (OCDA) is seeking anyone with additional information regarding an officer-involved shooting involving Martinez in Santa Ana on Tuesday, May, 24, 2016, at approximately 7:50 p.m. You are encouraged to contact Supervising District Attorney Investigator Dina Mauger at (714) 664-3960.



Deputy District Attorney Renee Jones of the Special Prosecutions Unit is prosecuting this case.
