OCSD Needs Help Identifying Attempted Sexual Assault Suspect at Marguerite Pkwy an La Paz Rd.

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA -  On Wednesday, May 11, 2016 Orange County Sheriff's Department (OCSD) deputies responded to the area of Marguerite Parkway and La Paz Road (Oso Creek Trail) reference an attempt sexual assault of a female.
 

At approximately 3:30pm, a female was walking the Oso Creek Trail when the suspect grabbed her and pulled her to the ground.  The suspect attempted to pull the female's pants off.  The female fought back and the suspect fled the area.  Special Victim Detail investigators responded and the case is on-going.
 
The suspect is only described as male, unknown race, 5' 10", possibly 50 years old, husky build, black flat top hair cut wearing a white shirt, khaki pants and work boots.  There is no further suspect information.
