OCSD Sheriff’s Investigators Seek Public’s Assistance in Suspicious Roadway Death of John Stewart

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA  – According to announcement by  the Orange County Sheriff Department (OCSD)   Public Affairs manager Carrie Braun, on June 3, 2016, at approximately 4:15 a.m. OCSD deputies responded to the intersection of Crown Valley Parkway and Seven Seas in Dana Point.  When deputies arrived, a male victim was discovered unresponsive laying in the roadway.  The victim was pronounced deceased by the Orange County Fire Authority

The victim has been identified as John Stewart, age 22. 

Stewart sustained trauma to his upper body. This incident is being investigated as a suspicious death.

Investigators are seeking witnesses or anyone with additional information to call the Orange County Sheriff’s
Major Accident Reconstruction Team (MART) at 949-425-1860 or the Watch Commander at 714-647-7000.
