Political Assassinations in Orange County – It’s the Water!

Political Assassinations in Orange County – It’s the Water!

Apparently what appeared to be equine waste emanating from the venue was not coming from horses after all!

November 27, 2007

A few months back, the Orange County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to create an oversight board, indicating the supervisors had little trust in Sheriff Carona.

Early last month, internal memos released by Orange County Treasurer-Tax Collector Chriss Street undercut his own account of a controversial $18,000 contract with a private company, leading his long time friend and Orange County supervisor Moorlach to ask that Mr. Street step down, otherwise the the threat was that the supervisors would strip him of any real power.

Most Orange County residents by now have heard about the beleaguered Sheriff Carona and his alleged long-time mistress.

Just this Monday, a state appellate court overturned a jury's finding that Orange County Supervisor Chris Norby engaged in sexual harassment of a former employee and ordered a new trial to determine how much in damages the woman should get for being wrongfully terminated.

Then there was the alleged political assassination of CZ Master Association board of directors’ president, and the alleged pre-mediated political assassination of Laguna Woods Village Third Mutual president Stanley Feinstein scheduled for Wednesday November 28, 2007, in what apparently is being called a closed meeting, to keep nosey people away.

We understand the reason Stanley Feinstein is the target of a political assassination is because he is asking the hard questions and in return, he is being referred to by his critic as fascist and Hitler, among other names. Feinstein is asking potential supporters who may plan to attend tomorrow’s meeting to “conduct themselves with decorum, not shout, stomp and in general be other than purely supportive in a positive and civilized manner”. Mr. Feinstein’s supporters “fully expect the management to have the security department out in full force and turning people away from the meeting and now allowing them entrance as has happened so often before”

So what is the common denominator, you ask? It is the water!

On November 30. 2007 the Orange County Water District will turn on a switch enabling millions of people to start drinking sewer water using a process called indirect potable water reuse

According to the NY Times’ article by Randal Archibald published today and titled titled From Sewage, Added Water for Drinking, the The finished product, will not flow directly into kitchen and bathroom taps. “Instead it will be injected underground, with half of it helping to form a barrier against seawater intruding on groundwater sources and the other half gradually filtering into aquifers that supply 2.3 million people, about three-quarters of the county” The article goes on to explain how “the Groundwater Replenishment System, as the $481 million plant here is known, is a labyrinth of tubing and tanks that sucks in treated sewer water the color of dark beer from a sanitation plant next door” works.

A recent CZ Master Association board of directors centered around the various wells in the area wondering how to best manage them – Apparently what appeared to be equine waste emanating from the venue was not coming from horses after all!
