Turn the far left’s Old Faithful into a Nightmare

Annoy a leftist, point to Senator Rubio’s version of the Dream Act

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA –  If you think of Wyoming when someone utters the words Old Faithful, you may not realize that there is a Geyser in Calistoga, California that erupts with reliable frequency, but not as reliably as the far left’s use of the race card.

For years, the far left has been using  the DREAM Act and  the mostly far left & hyphenated media has not only bought the message, but it also continues to amplify it.  Take for instance the headline leading up to the 2010 election:   WHILE SENATOR REID PROMISES DREAM ACT VOTE IN 2010, REPUBLICAN SENATORS PRESS FOR MASS DEPORTATION

The Far Left's Old Faithful is not in Yellowstone, Calistoga, CA  or Wyoming

The article goes on to say:  “… an interview yesterday with Univision’s Jorge Ramos, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said that he would bring the DREAM Act to a vote in the “lame duck” session after the midterm elections, regardless of the election results. Meanwhile, Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee sent a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano asking how much it would cost to implement their mass deportation strategy”

The DREAM Act (acronym for Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors,) first introduced in the Senateon, 2001, by Dick Durbin and Orrin Hatch  would provide conditional permanent residency to certain illegal aliens who graduate from U.S. high schools, arrived in the United States as minors, and lived in the country continuously for at least five years prior to the bill's enactment.

Now, the mostly left Wing and Hyphenated media with a target market of the  dependent, apathetic and or as the President's  might say, stupid electorate, is well versed at using weapons of mass disinformation to manipulate the electorate, including  the use of the race card. We continue to make the argument that If there is any   intellectual integrity left at NBC/CBS/CNN their entire executive staff should be fired, for the Travon  Martin case, exploiting the race card, for example.  Remember Meg Whitman’s NannyGate?

Consider for example the recent movement by the far left to have the term  ‘illegal’ immigrants fit the  definition of a hate crime and  instead use the term "potential new tax contributor ."  even organizations like   The Society of Professional Journalists have jumped on this latest bandwagon!

Never mind that the President and the Democrats controlled the White House, the House AND the Senate, yet failed to advance the DREAM Act ball.

Why?  Because the unresolved issue is more valuable to the far left, as it enables the radical left to paint the GOP as racists and Hispanic-phobic.  Worse, the Hispanic community keeps falling for the Charlie-Brown act every election cycle.  Sadly, it is not only the Hispanic community that allows itself to be manipulated, but also a good number of voters on the right, fall on the same  trap responding with divisive language, such as the one exploited by America’s Voice.com.

But now, the Far Left' and the Mostly Far Left & Hyphenated Media’s  DREAM Act may be turning into a nightmare:  Senator Marco  Rubio (R-FL) has been working on his  version of the DREAM Act, and the far left is not happy.  “One of the things that has already been documented is that the White House  been calling in DREAM Act advocates and asking them, almost ordering them, not to work with me on this issue,” said Sen  Rubio  in a radio interview earlier this month.

For those who may view the Hispanic community as a homogenous voting block, consider that a recent Pew Hispanic survey found that nearly four decades after the United States government mandated the use of the terms “Hispanic” or “Latino” to categorize Americans who trace their roots to Spanish-speaking countries, that these terms still haven’t been fully embraced by Hispanics themselves.   The survey also supports our continued argument that the GOP should not pander to the Hispanic community, It’s the Brand, Stupid:

Hispanics believe learning English is important. Nearly nine-in-ten (87%) Hispanics say adult. Hispanic immigrants need to learn English to succeed in the U.S.

Hispanics, more so than the general public, believe in the efficacy of hard work.

On some social issues, Latinos hold views similar to the general public, but on others, Latinos are more conservative. Virtually identical shares of Latinos (59%) and the general public (58%) say homosexuality should be accepted by society. However, on abortion, Hispanics hold a more conservative view than the general U.S. public—half (51%) of Hispanics say it should be illegal in most or all cases, compared with 41% of the general public.

Religion is more important in the lives of immigrant Hispanics than in the lives of native-born Hispanics. Nearly seven-in-ten (69%) immigrant Hispanics say religion is very important in their lives, compared with half (49%) of U.S.-born Hispanics. Among the general population of the U.S., 58% say religion is very important in their lives

Conclusion:

As the 2012 election approaches, we continue to argue that the far left and the President have a good chance at a second term for four reasons:

  1. The Mostly Radical Left and Hyphenated Media have a vested interested in the status quo
  2. The media’s target market:  Dependent, apathetic and or stupid electorate
  3. Class warfare.
  4. The GOP’s failure to have a credible response to charges of racism.

Like it or not,  the results of the 2012 will ultimately be decided by the Hispanic vote, homogenous or not.  A sure way dismantle the Far Left’s stranglehold on the Hispanic voting block and neutralize its use of WMD while having fun, is if you annoy a leftist by pointing to Senator Rubio’s version of the Dream Act, AND  if the GOP remembers that It’s the Brand, Stupid!
