• Simple Explanation for Equality: The Quranic text sets a baseline for equal spiritual worth and basic legal rights.
• Simple Explanation for Oppression: when social and cultural customs prioritize male ego and authority, they override the egalitarian spirit of the text, leading to the oppression of women.

Confirmation Bias
People see what they want to see despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary driven primarily driven by confirmation bias, an automatic mental shortcut where your brain prioritizes information that supports your existing views while ignoring everything .

• Motivated Reasoning:
This is the active process of using logic to reach a desired conclusion rather than the most accurate one. You might demand a "high standard of evidence" for things you don't like while accepting flimsy support for things you do.
• Survival Instincts:
Evolutionarily, it was safer to quickly recognize patterns (like a predator in the brush) than to wait for perfect evidence. This "pattern recognizer" can lead you to "see" what you expect, such as ghosts or specific faces in ambiguous shapes (pareidolia).
Common Biases Involved
• Selective Interpretation:
Two people can see the exact same data and come to opposite conclusions based on their preexisting beliefs
• Selective Recall:
You are more likely to remember facts that support your view and forget those that challenge it.
• The Backfire Effect:
In some cases, being presented with strong contradictory evidence can actually cause you to "double down" and believe your original view even more strongly.
To counter this, experts recommend practicing intellectual humility—acknowledging your beliefs could be wrong—and intentionally seeking out well-reasoned opposing viewpoints.

America is not in chaos. A few small intersections and blocks in Minneapolis have a few hundred communist drones hassling ICE for trying to deport rapists and murderers, but there is no tactical impact on the ability of the federal government to perform its duties nationwide. These agitators have zero combat power; they can’t make the feds do anything by force. Instead, their intent is to make the feds do the damage to themselves.

Spineless saps like Rep. James Comer go on TV and cravenly suggest Trump pull back on enforcing federal law, that he submit to a violent and organized left that is sponsored by leftist state officials, and that is exactly what the Democrats want.
He and his invertebrate ilk are flustered by some video clips of objectively minuscule violence, but everything that happened in Minneapolis over the last weekend, including the shooting of the communist and the biting off of an ICE agent’s finger, was less than what happens between 8:00 and 8:30 pm on the average Chicago Friday night.
The entire rest of the US has ICE agents deporting these foreign monsters without incident. It's a Jedi mind trick that works on the weak and the dumb. Information operations are based on deception and illusion. The left, aided by the regime media, is seeking to put forth the illusion of chaos. But it’s easy to defend against it. Recognize the illusion and refuse to be influenced by it.
