The 2024 Education Vote

DRAFT

If you paid attention to media coverage leading up to November 5th
the results of the 2024 presidential were unexpected, if not downright shocking.  The DNC was shocked, after all, the New York Times/mainstream media were projecting Kamala Harris was going to win: Yet the Kamala Harris campaign is $20 million in debt. Lindy Li, a member of the DNC Finance Committee, said she and others were misled. Pollster Luntz told CNN’s MJ Lee that the president holds “a lot of blame” for her defeat and a number of Democrats have slammed Biden for his decision to seek reelection last year, declaring that he “hung on too long” before abandoning his presidential bid in July. A Harris aide has also pointed to a moment during the vice president’s interview on “The View” last month, when she told hosts that she couldn’t think of something she could’ve done differently from Biden over the past four years, Reuters reported. But Occam’s Razor suggests the NYT/MSM ‘experts’ played a big part on the failed campaign by misleading its subscribers and advertisers – a sort of red journalism.

The results showed every race, color, creed, and gender repudiated Kamala Harris’ failed platitudes-based campaign strategy which the NYT/MSM not only endorsed but promoted. Kamala ran a sizzle campaign based on platitudes, like not going back, celebrity endorsements, name-calling: racists, misogynist, dictator, ignorant, uneducated and so on.  Despite warnings of a colossal gender gap, Women were more evenly split than in 2020, with an 8 percent lead for Harris compared to a 15 percent lead for Biden among women voters.

The Indian Country sided with Trump: As well it should:  Progressive policies, Tribal Leaders & corrupt politicians have failed Native Americas & Alaska Natives.

Meanwhile, the New York Times led the mainstream media cheering squad promoting the sizzle campaign, while surrogates used social media as a boom box to expand on the strategy like announcing a daily celebrity endorsement and post misinformation.

The education vote in the 2024 presidential election illustrates the inverse relationship between 'education’ and common sense/wisdom as well as the gender gap. The results also show the lowest youth support for Democrats in a century

Kamala Harris wins the No VoterID required vote.

The Black vote remained impervious to the most expensive presidential campaign, apparently ignoring history and the impact progressive policies have on Black families.

The overall gender divide was smaller than in 2020, and below predicted levels. Among Black and Latino groups in particular, however, the gap was substantial.

2024 Demographics

Our DC Bureau Chief Eric Garcia reports that the signs were there for the Democrats losing Latino voters, and that the economy was the biggest motivator in voting for Trump.

There has been significant speculation over the Democrats losing the Black vote.

Overall, the number of Black voters choosing Trump remained similar to NBC’s 2020 exit poll: increasing by 1 point to 13 percent

What is most apparent is the increased gap of 14 percent between Black men and women.

Out of all demographic groups, Black women were Harris’s strongest supporters (91 percent), second only to Black voters aged 65+.

Latino Vote

@edsource
.org's Michael Burke writes that

"Latino students are enrolling at low rates in bachelor’s degree programs at California’s community colleges, even after
giving students a simpler path to a four-year degree."  According to a new study by UCLA’s Latino Policy

"Across the programs, which range from equine and ranch management at Feather River College to dental hygiene at West Los Angeles College"

"To address that gap, the study calls for greater recruitment of Latino students to the programs and for the state to invest more money in the programs."

The great news is that "... for the students who do enroll, 64% of them finish their degree within two years after starting their upper-division coursework."

My takeaways;

Latino students are practical.  They do not want to add to the $1.7 trillion student loan debt. Data  show Black students take out the most student loan debt for a bachelor's degree, followed by white students.

Latinos interested in programs such as  equine and ranch management or dental hygiene are better off going to trade schools

Data also shows a Zimbabwe Dollar is worth more than a college degree, according to the Palestinian Wasp.

There's not a single study shows spending should be reduced.  All of them suggest that to address the education industrial complex issue, Whatever it may be, the state shoukd invest more money in the program. Where "invest" is euphemism for Wealth Redistribution.

We know figures don't lie.  Liars figure:
Do the math.  64% of zero is zero.

Normalize Trade Schools!

SECOND Circular Reporting:
CNBC's #JessicaDickler@JDICKLER

"reports"

Transferring from community college to a four-year school isn’t often successful — it’s ‘terribly unfortunate,’ expert says

Duh! No expert needed.

Yet, #GavinNewsom and lawmakers think students are too stupid to figure out which college courses to take to  transfer to the University of California, so they  make it easier with AB1291. Lowering standards is rarely the answer to academic achievement

As Thomas Sowell might say: in an age of artificial intelligence, they are creating artificial stupidity

But wait, there's more!  Other "experts" want more "investment" to attract Latino students!
