Coto de caza, CA - We started to look at the proposed Khalda development from a gun control perspective, as the property is currently zoned for a gun club, but a zoning request with the county, if approved would change it to residential use only. In the process, we learnt that Lee Ann Miller is vehemently opposed to the potential rezoning change.
We tried to reach Ms. Miller and asked her to comment, but we have not heard from her. On the other hand, it seems that the CZ Master Association board of directors is a house divided. Xochitl Yocham wants to extend Ms. Miller an invitation to attend today’s CZ Master Association’s executive session to discuss the Khalda Development, because according to Ms. Yocham ..” Ms. Miller’s reputation of being extremely difficult..” but the invite is intended to “..diffuse any animosity toward the BODthat may happened at our next general session.” However, Lyle is not as condescending and thinks that a meeting with the board may be likened to a meeting with the King, as “..we do not owe Ms. Miller anything, let alone a meeting with the board.”
What has Ms. Miller so upset, according to Bob Varo is that she “..may be able to see one or two of the proposed seven homes from her property. The estimated distance from her property line to the closes new home is approximately 600 feet.”
As of this writing, we do not know if the county will approve the rezoning request. We also do not know if the CZ Master association will continue to add to the $3 million/year+ subsidies by subsidizing the new development, if approved. The only take away seems to be that if you raise a stink at CZ Master association general meeting, you may just get a special audience with the King.

Microbiology 101 – Parasites
Posted By CotoBlogzz
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA - According to a report from the Georgia Bureau of
Investigation, at least 178 teachers and principals in Atlanta Public Schools
cheated to raise student scores on high-stakes standardized tests in America's biggest teacher and principal
cheating scandal in Atlanta.
Award-winning gains by Atlanta students were based on widespread
cheating by teachers and principals, according to Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal
The report on the Atlanta Public Schools, indicates a
"widespread" conspiracy by teachers, principals and administrators to
fix answers on the Criterion-Referenced Competency Test (CRCT), punish
whistle-blowers, and hide improprieties. According to Mayor Kasim Reed. "There is no doubt that systemic cheating
occurred on a widespread basis in the school system."
How can this happen?
Easy. Teachers Unions work hard
to elect their political bosses who then, as president Obama so eloquently has
said, “the union’s agenda is MY agenda.”
When that happens, teachers write their own meal ticket, get tenure and
can do anything they like.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) , one of many we
refer to as a parasitic
bureaucracy, as of midnight July 22 is furloughing 4000 Workers and
consequently, consumers get a break, because House Republicans took a stand
against government waste.
Last month, California legislators failed to pass a balanced
budget by the constitutional deadline, June 15 and as a result forfeited their
pay until a balanced budget was sent to the governor. Within matter of days, the balanced budget made its way to the
governor we know as the Butcher of Sacramento
Lessons learned: You make politicians accountable, they
respond immediately. Because in most
cases, there is lack of transparency and accountability, and there is a symbiotic relationship between
unions, lobbyists parasitic bureaucracies and politicians, the results as in the
case of Atlanta, are not surprising –
guess how ObamaCare was passed? This is
why we have been calling of a bureaucracy realignment and closure initiative
patterned after the military base closures, where some 80% or more of state and
federal bureaucracies merge and or close.
The most important result
of the initiative is not the savings from closing down the parasitic
bureaucracies as much as it is to shut down the shadow economy the symbiotic
relationship between the unions, the bureaucracies, lobbyists and politicians
that have created the current economic fiasco in the first place – not to
mentioned the widespread political corruption.

The National Debt Debate is Mind Over Matter
Posted By CotoBlogzz
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – We continue to argue that it is
a mistake to raise the national debt limit, and instead posit that the debate
is simply mind over matter. If you put
your mind to it, then whomever Obama blames, don’t matter.
For
instance, California's Triple threat is 1) Unions, 2) Lobbyists and 3)
Parasitic Bureaucracies - we continue to propose a Bureaucracy Realignment and
Closure Initiative (BRCI) similar to the one used to close military
installations. Using this plan, over 80% of the bureaucracies at the state and
national level close or merge.
For example, at the state level, these parasitic
bureaucracies can be closed immediately
LAFCO, CLRC, CARB and others,
while at the national level, the Department of Education and the EPA can close
immediately. Some may argue that the
savings from shutting down the Palmetto Bugs does not amount to much. Something similar was said from so-called
GOP fiscal conservatives when we argued that earmarks should be banned – RINOS
are now singing a different tune.
However, it is not the savings from closing down the
parasitic bureaucracies that matters.
It is the shutting down of the shadow economy the symbiotic relationship
between the unions, the bureaucracies, lobbyists and politicians that have
created the economic fiasco in the first place. Guess how ObamaCare came to being?
Let's be clear, there will not be another historic opportunity to even discuss the BRCI again.
Now, at the national level, the Economic Triple Constraint
is 1) ObamaCare 2) Card Check and 3) Cap and Trade.

LA Sheriff's Deputy gets 13 years for assault
Posted by CotoBlogzz
Santa Ana, CA - Sean Paul Delacerda, a deputy with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) was sentenced today to 13 years in state prison for assaulting an ex-girlfriend with a firearm after accusing her of cheating and violently holding her against her will at gunpoint in her apartment.
Delacerda, 27, Fullerton, who was a four-year veteran of LASD at the time of the crime, was found guilty by a jury April 14, 2011, of one felony count each of assault with a firearm, kidnapping, false imprisonment by violence, and one misdemeanor count of domestic violence battery. The sentencing enhancement for the personal use of a firearm was also found true.
According to the Orange County District Attorney's (OCDA) office, on April 18, 2010, Delacerda broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend, Jane Doe, without the victim's permission. The victim was not home. When Jane Doe arrived home at approximately 4:00 p.m., the defendant asked where she had been and accused of her cheating. He pulled out a firearm loaded with one bullet in the cylinder. Jane Doe became scared and tried to run to the front door, but Delacerda chased her, grabbed her by both arms, and kept her inside. He forced the victim to open her e-mail so that he could read them.
While Delarcerda was reading the e-mails, Jane Doe again tried to run to the front door to escape. The defendant chased after her, tackled her to the ground, and climbed on top of her. He covered the victim's mouth as she screamed. Delarcerda took the firearm with one bullet, pointed it in his mouth, and pulled the trigger while still on top of the victim. The firearm clicked but did not fire. The defendant then pointed the firearm at Jane Doe.
After pointing his firearm at the victim, Delarcerda dragged Jane Doe to her bedroom and pushed her in a closet. He returned to her computer to continue reading her e-mails. While the defendant was distracted, Jane Doe was finally able to run outside and get into her car.
Delacerda ran after the victim, tried to open her locked car door, and banged on her window. He jumped on the hood of her car as she reversed and chased after her as she drove away. Jane Doe called 911 from her car and the defendant was arrested shortly thereafter leaving the area of the victim's home.
During the trial, Delacerda admitted breaking into the victim's home, loading one bullet into his firearm, and waiting 11 hours for Jane Doe to return, but he denied any assault on the victim.
Deputy District Attorney Sandra Nassar of the Family Protection Unit prosecuted this case.

Mission Viejo dance instructor guilty of unlawful sexual relationship with minor
Posted by CotoBlogzz
Mission Viejo, CA - Jason Alan Marian, a dance instructor was sentenced today to two years and eight months in state prison for having an unlawful sexual relationship with a 16-year-old dance student and secretly videotaping several other teen girls after a pool party at his home as they changed in the bathroom, according to the Orange County District Attorney's (OCDA) office.
Marian, 32, Mission Viejo, was found guilty by a jury April 30, 2010, of nine felony counts including one felony count of possession and control of child pornography, and one misdemeanor count of secretly filming another with the intent to arouse.
In April 2007, Marian and his wife were both dance instructors at Mission Viejo Dance and Performing Arts Center. On April 14, 2007, the defendant invited several female dance students, between the ages of 12 and 14, to his home for a party. He set up a Slip 'N Slide in a nearby park for the victims to use in their bathing suits.
After playing in the park, the defendant had the girls come back to his house for a barbecue and swimming. He set up a hidden camera in the bathroom of his house and had the unsuspecting victims change their clothes in the bathroom so as not to ruin the furniture with wet bathing suits. The defendant surreptitiously taped each of the victims as they undressed in full view of the camera with the intention of using the video for sexual gratification.
One of the victims noticed the camera while changing and removed it from the bathroom. She gave it to her parents, who turned it over to the Orange County Sheriff's Department. During a subsequent investigation, officers learned of an unlawful sexual relationship between the defendant and a 16-year-old victim.
Between December 2005 and June 2006, the defendant groomed 16-year-old Jane Doe, a student at Mission Viejo Dance and Performing Arts Center. The victim was not a student of the defendant. He offered to assist her with a school science project by taking her to his other job at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point. In June 2006, Marian unlawfully engaged with Jane Doe in his Mission Viejo home.
During the sentencing today, one of the victims who was unknowingly videotaped by Marian in his bathroom gave a victim impact statement to the court and said, "As a 7th grader at 13 years old, I had discovered firsthand what betrayal really was. For the past four years this has always been in the back of my mind. The impact of all that has gone on is indescribable. I have been waiting for this to finally be over and now that it is, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders."
The mother of this victim also addressed the court and said of the defendant, "No one saw it coming. You are the most dangerous of predators because you so carefully manipulated your way into the dance studio and into the families of the victims pretending to be something that you were not. You painted a masterful picture of yourself - someone who was married, someone who befriended many of the families, and someone who had just become a father. On the outside you looked safe. On the inside, you are a sick man."
