MSM Induced Election-Related Psychosis: Cognitive Dissonance

As exoected Facebook took exception to this piece. In 2020 Zuckerberg apologized for election interference.  Will he apologize now?

Cognitive dissonance- psychosis - is a psychological term that describes the discomfort you feel when you believe what mainstream media says will happen don’t line up with reality. It generally refers to symptoms related to a break with reality, or a difficulty perceiving what is real and what isn’t

Repugnant:  why MSM should apologize to America

Or it could refer to the tension of holding two conflicting beliefs at once. “Cognitive” means relating to your thoughts. “Dissonance” describes a lack of harmony. Your thoughts – on the one hand, that you consider yourself a staunch supporter of a certain political party and, on the other hand, that you cannot support that party’s policy about the US Constitution, are not in harmony with each other. The discomfort this causes can push you to make a change, either in your behavior or your beliefs, that will make you feel more comfortable. You may feel threatened, insignificant and display an aggressive behavior toward people or things that make you feel small.

According to WebMD

Causes of psychosis include:

Getting new information. When you receive new information that challenges your beliefs – like learning that President Donald Trump soundly defeated Kamala Harris – you can feel cognitive dissonance.

Even on election day, Main Stream Media was projecting a major Kamala Harris' win.

What really happened.
Reality Happens:  Dodged a mortal blow.

Reaction from those with little to no Cognitive Dissonance:

Thank you God. Thank you PNut

Social pressures. Peer pressure often refers to children and teenagers, but adults can behave in a way that goes against their values because of social pressure, too. Laughing at an offensive joke because your Facebook friend told it or because others are laughing is an example of that.

Forced compliance. Being made to do something in public that you don’t agree with can cause cognitive dissonance.

Making a hard decision. Making any difficult decision can lead to cognitive dissonance.

Symptoms of cognitive dissonance.

According to Alta Mira, everyone’s experience is unique, but there are some general and common symptoms of psychosis. These can be triggered by drug use

Hallucinations. These are perceptions from the senses that are not real.

Delusions. This is a persistent belief in something that is not true, even when evidence is presented.

Disturbed thoughts and emotions. Common with psychosis is disordered thinking, rapid and unorganized speech, inappropriate emotional responses, or a lack of emotions

According to WebMD If you do have cognitive dissonance, you might:

Feel anxiety or stress

Feel guilt, shame, or regret

Justify to yourself or to others why you did something

Dismiss or downplay the results of your actions to yourself or others

Feel physical tension in your body, such as tightness in your neck, back, or shoulders

Feel tension or conflict in your relationships if the situation involved another person

Righteous Indignation at Name-Calling: real or feigned?

Just hours ago, the New York Times reported "Donald J. Trump and his allies are full of bravado over his chances of victory in the closing days of the 2024 campaign. But there are signs, publicly and privately, that the former president and his team are worried that their opponents’ descriptions of him as a racist and a fascist may be breaking through to segments of voters." It doesn't report that in 2020 Kamala Harris got 1% of the primary votes. In 2024 she got zero percent of the primary vote. The New York Times previously reported Joe Biden was on top shape, that the economy was up. Then swoosh, something happened. Biden was moved aside and Kamala came in to 'fix' the economy that just days before was in good shape. The NYT didn't report that it had previously argued the US Constitution was dangerous.

How would a rational person react at the results? An acute case of Cognitive Dissonance; Readers reacting to the great difference from what the were told to what actually happened.

When election redults show that every race, creed, gender and age voted for President Trump, but progressives react by call the voters RACISTS - what does that tell you?

Reaction to 2024 Election Results Exhibiting Acute Cognitive Dissonance

It tells me that America deserves an apology from the main stream media. Clearly MSM has abdicated the 4th state. If you have been on X to monitor the election results, traditional journalism is irrelevant. Citizen journalism, also known as the 5th estate has replaced the mainstream media

Can you recognize Cognitive Dissonance

WebMD says that you can have cognitive dissonance and not even know it. You could be in a state of cognitive dissonance any time you feel guilty about a choice you made or find yourself trying to justify an action that you just took. A cursory look at X clearly shows that most users have no idea they have acute cognitive dissonance.

Way Forward

Cognitive dissonance theory assumes that, we want to live in a state of cognitive consonance. That is, we want our beliefs and our actions to be in harmony with each other so that wr can be at peace with yourself.

To make that happen, we need to accept the Serenity Prayer:   “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.” The serenity, often used in 12-step programs and other recovery settings, is a prayer for peace, strength, and wisdom.

Saint Philip Neri's Maxim of the Day for November 6 is a propos:

He who really wishes to become a saint must never defend himself, except in a few rare cases, but always acknowledge himself in fault, even when what is alleged against him is untrue.

Divine Intervention?

Saint Jude was an Apostle of Jesus &  is the patron saint of desperate cases and lost causes.

We prayed to St Jude to intercede for us so we would have our judeo-Christian values restored.

After much delay, TODAY, we received this statue.

The Heart Of Jesus As Described By the Saints

Dilexit nos,” Pope Francis’ fourth Encyclical, retraces the tradition and relevance of thought on “the human and divine love of the heart of Jesus Christ,” calling for a renewal of authentic devotion to avoid forgetting the tenderness of faith, the joy of serving, and the fervour of mission. It is packed with testimonies from the saints of prayer and devotion to the heart of Christ throuhout the centuries as described by the pope’s new encyclical.

Jesus revealed to the saint His heart, burning with love for humanity. Pierced and crucified, offering salvation and mercy. Jesus’ heart longs for us to offer our love and devotion in return. If some distorted forms of spirituality focused only on God’s punishment, the Sacred Heart emphasized mercy. If many believers inordinately feared God, here divine love and joy were manifest. If Jesus had seemed distant and unapproachable before, the Sacred Heart beckons us to enter into the divine furnace of charity.

In his “Spiritual Exercises,” St. Ignatius of Loyola (1491–1556) - a Basque Spaniard Catholic priest and theologian, who, with six companions, founded the religious order of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), and became its first Superior General, in Paris in 1541 - encourages retreatants to contemplate the wounded side of the crucified Lord to enter into the heart of Christ. Ignatius founded the Society of Jesus, also known as the Jesuits, which has promoted devotion to Jesus’ divine heart for more than a century. The society was consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in 1871.

Other saints mentioned in Pope Francis' encyclical:
St. Francis de Sales (1567–1622)

was a Savoyard Catholic prelate who served as Bishop of Geneva and is a saint of the Catholic Church. He became noted for his deep faith and his gentle approach to the religious divisions in his land resulting from the Protestant Reformation. He is known also for his writings on the topic of spiritual direction and spiritual formation, particularly the Introduction to the Devout Life and the Treatise on the Love of God.

St. John Henry Newman (1801–1890)

St. Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647–1690)

St. Claude de La Colombière (1641–1682)

St. Gertrude of Helfta (1256–1302)

St. Mechtilde of Hackeborn (1241–1298)

St. Vincent de Paul (1581–1660)

St. Catherine of Siena (1347–1380)

St. John Paul II (1920–2005

St. Bernard of Clairvaux (1090–1153)

St. Bonaventure (1221–1274)

St. John Eudes (1601–1680)

St. Charles de Foucauld (1858–1916)

St. Thomas Aquinas (1225–1274)

St. Thérèse of Lisieux (1873–1897)

St. John of the Cross (1542–1591)

St. Ambrose (340–397)

St. Augustine (354–430)

St. Daniel Comboni (1831–1881)

Saint Borromeo, Gives Up Wealth to Become a Zealous Shepherd

November 4th is the Feast Day of Saint Charles Borromeo. He founded the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine and was a leading figure of the Counter-Reformation together with Ignatius of Loyola and Philip Neri. He was responsible for significant reforms in the Catholic Church, including the founding of seminaries for the education of priests. He was canonized by Pope Paul V in 1610

On March 23 in 1564 Charles Borromeo received his pallium as Archbishop of Milan. He was not only the Cardinal/Archbishop of Milan but the most significant person of the Counter-pReformation. He is the patron saint of bishops, cardinals, seminarians, and spiritual leaders.

The Catholic Church honors Saint Borromeo for his holiness, love of God, piety, humility, and devotion. Many Catholic charity organizations, schools, and religious education efforts can trace their origins to St. Charles Borromeo.

You have heard it say: "Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Amen, I say to you, it will be hard for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."
And “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me. Matthew Chapter 19

Saint Charles Borromeo was born to a wealthy family and his uncle, Pope Pius IV made Charles, aged 22, a Cardinal of the Church. A skeptic might say thar Charles becoming a Cardinal at such a young age, was purely nepotism. But recall Gamaliel, a Pharisee and teacher of the law, respected by all the people, ehen he stood up, said to the Sanhedrin, "For if this endeavor or this activity is of human origin, it will destroy itself. But if it comes from God, you will not be able to destroy them (The Apostles) you may even find yourselves fighting against God.” Acts Chapter 5

Education matters.
While Charles Borromeo was the second son of distinguished and wealthy parents, and seemed like a typical child - had friends, played the violin, went hunting and enjoyed his life - they raised him in an extremely religious atmosphere. When he was twelve, he was given tonsur - shaving the top of a priest or monk's head. This marked him for the priesthood and he was educated with that goal in mind.

Charles studied theology and also earned his degree in law at the University of Pavia in Milan. Because of his organizational and social skills, the Pope promoted Charles to the office of Secretary of State, the Cardinal Protector of several countries and of six religious orders as well as naming him Archbishop of Milan.

In 1562, Charles was appointed to help organize the upcoming Council of Trent. During this planning, Charles’ brother died. This event was life-changing as Charles was forced to look at the meaning and purpose of his life. He decided to reform the Church. He 1) rewrote the catechism 2) started reforms in the preparation of candidates for the priesthood; 3) ordered changes in the prayer book of the Church; and 4) asked the Pope to decree that political appointments could no longer be made in the Church. Many of these reforms, and others with which Charles is credited, grew out of the Council of Trent.

After the Council of Trent, back to Milan as full-time Archbishop, Charkes continued his work with the poor, caring for them in the streets when the plague hit Milan. His heroic behavior during the plague of 1576–78 won him much respect, as he gave away his wealth to feed the hungry and care for the sick in Milan. even saw that the curtains in his palace, his clothes and other possessions were turned into money for medicine for the poor. Charles, the Archbishop of Milan, was usually seen in rags. He taught catechism, found the sick and elderly places to stay, established schools and ran the diocese. He lived a life of prayer, slept little and ate less. He once said, “Here all kinds of poor will be housed, outsiders as well as Milanese; men, women, children because charity knows no distinction of nations, and we are all brothers and sisters in the Lord.”

Toward the end of October in the year 1584, Charles fell ill with a heavy fever and died a few days later.

Prayer to Saint Charles Borromeo

V. Pray for us, O glorious Saint Charles: R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us pray. Ever keep Thy Church, O Lord, we beseech Thee, under the protection of blessed Charles Thy Confessor and Bishop; that through the intercession of him who became glorious by his watchful care over his flock, we may ever burn with love for Thee. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ Thy Son, Who with Thee and the Holy Ghost liveth and reigneth, ever one God, world without end. R. Amen.

And Without Firing a Single Shot, America's Infidels Are Now Atheists

We will take America without firing a single shot.

We can't expect the American people to jump from capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism until they awaken one day to find that they have communism

We do not have to invade the United States, we will destroy you from within - Nikita Khrushchev

Paraphrasing Khrushchev: We will convert America's infidels, without firing a single firing single shot into Muslims or atheists.

We can't expect the American people to covert from Christianity to atheism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses until they awaken one day to find that they are no longer a Christian nation

We do not have to invade the United States, we will destroy you from within.

Although once-trusted fact-checkers question the veracity of the source, the statement was prophetic in more ways than one. Democrats like Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris keep pushing Socialism,

Not too long ago we could safely plan a family outing without worring the children would exposed to indecent behavior whether at the movies, an NFL game, a baseball game. a women's soccer game, an Olympic sports event or even a high school sporting event. No longer.

Gallop reported that, 20 yrs ago, 42% of U.S. adults attended religious services. 10 yrs ago 38%, and currently at 30%. Gallop attributes the decline to an increase in the percentage of Americans with no religious affiliation. But why? Been to the movies lately?

Because Obama, Hollywood, Netflix legacy media and Politicians have done what Islam has failed to do: Use subliminal Manipulation to convert millions of infidels without firing a single shot.

If you are a disciple of Coca-Cola spiritualityObama, Hollywood, Netflix legacy media and Politicians want you.

The Midnight Mass. A Netflix film is not only a horror movie and pro-Islam but is sacrilegious and a gross mischaracterization of Catholicism.

Meanwhile. All Souls Day has nothing to do with scary things, nightmares or Coco, the film. It’s a Catholic holiday when the living remember our beloved deceased family and friends. In the Mexican culture, All Souls’ Day is known as Día de los Muertos or the Day of the Dead. Pixar immortalized such belief in the movie Coco.

Why Pope Francis warns against becoming “disciples of Coca Cola Spirituality,” using the metaphor to warn against superficial approaches to faith formation.

Common Sense Media gives the film 4 out of 5 stars writing that Coco is “colorful, beautifully animated, and culturally vibrant, Coco is an affecting, multilayered coming-of-age drama. Miguel just wants to make music, even though it’s forbidden to him because his family believes that music cursed them.” It’s actually more than that: it’s artistically appealing and so well-made, it makes it one more in a myriad Hollywood films that contribute to The Subliminally Forced Conversion.

From the Midnight Mass to Coco, there’s a full spectrum of antiJudeo-Christian films consciously designed to weaken the faith.

Children are under attack from all sides. Including Hollywood, The White House, ChuckSchumer, Hakeem Jeffries, Kamala Harris, Main Stream Media and the whole AntiChristian Democrstic coalition: they claim childrem belong to the state & use reproductive freedom as euphemism for abortion on demand.

What you see out of the classroom, including government and the entertainment industry is what Khrushchev predicted and that we refer to as subliminally forced conversion.

November 5th may just be the nail in the head as the Democrat Coalition has bowed not to go back..

Nov 2nd All Souls Day. Separating superstition from verity.

All Souls Day has nothing to do with scary things, nightmares or Coco.

It’s a Catholic holiday when the living remember our beloved deceased family and friends. In the Mexican culture, All Souls’ Day is known as Día de los Muertos or the Day of the Dead.

Pixar immortalized such belief in the movie Coco.

Common Sense Media gives the film 4 out of 5 stars writing that Coco is "colorful, beautifully animated, and culturally vibrant, Coco is an affecting, multilayered coming-of-age drama. Miguel just wants to make music, even though it's forbidden to him because his family believes that music cursed them." It's actually more than that: it's artistically appealing and so well-made, it makes it on more in a myriad Hollywood films that contribute to The Subliminally Forced Conversion.

Forced Conversion Spectrum: From Subliminal to Explicit:  From Coco to AntiCatholic Midnight Mass by self-described atheist Mike Flanagan

Just like in the Middle Ages, people believed the souls of the dead could appear on this day in the form of witches, toads or will-o’-the-wisps. Will-o'-the-wisps are ghosts with lanterns fated to wander aimlessly for removing their neighbor's boundary markers. They believed graveside food offerings supposedly eased the rest of the dead.

While the Church has encouraged prayer for the dead from the earliest times as an act of Christian charity. “If we had no care for the dead,” Augustine noted, “we would not be in the habit of praying for them.” Yet pre-Christian rites for the deceased retained such a strong hold on the superstitious imagination that a liturgical commemoration was not observed until the early Middle Ages, when monastic communities began to mark an annual day of prayer for the departed members.

In the middle of the 11th century, Saint Odilo, abbot of Cluny, France, decreed that all Cluniac monasteries offer special prayers and sing the Office for the Dead on November 2, the day after the feast of All Saints. The custom spread from Cluny and was finally adopted throughout the Roman Church.

The premise of the feast is the acknowledgment of human frailty. Since few people achieve perfection in this life but, rather, go to the grave still scarred with traces of sinfulness, some period of purification seems necessary before a soul comes face-to-face with God. The Council of Trent affirmed this purgatory state and insisted that the prayers of the living can speed the process of purification

Thus All Souls Day is a day for commemoration of all the faithful departed. The prayers of the faithful on earth helps cleanse these souls in order to fit them for the vision of God in heaven, and the day is dedicated to prayer and remembrance. It is part of the three-day triduum dedicated to remembering the dead, beginning with Halloween (October 31) and followed by All Saints’ Day (November 1) and All Souls’ Day (November 2)
