Bonnie and Clyde, The Musical, at Saddleback College!

Posted by CotoBlogzz
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – Bonnie and Clyde come to Saddleback college on April 10-19 in the McKinney Theatre.

With Music by Frank Wildhorn, Lyrics by Don Black, and Book by Ivan Menchell, this gritty American biographical crime film has been transformed into an edgy musical. Songs include: This World Will Remember Me, You’re Goin’ Back to Jail, You Can Do Better Than Him, Raise A Little Hell, The Bank, This World Will Remember Us, The Shootout, and Dyin’ Ain’t So Bad

Directed by Trevor Biship, this thrilling and sexy musical has a non-traditional score combining blues, gospel, and rockabilly music. Another interesting aspect to the musical is the work of set designer Kaitlyn Pietras, an LA-based scenic and projection designer who is dedicated to exploiting and merging the mediums of theatre, architecture, and film into her work. Don’t miss this fearless, shameless, and electrifying story of love, adventure, and crime that captured the excited attention of the entire country. Now, the most notorious couple of the twentieth century takes on a whole new adventure: the stage.

Director Trevor Biship stated, “Set Designer Kaitlyn Pietras and I were inspired by images of the people, homes, and open roads and wastelands taken during the Dust Bowl, images, by Dorothea Lange and other photographers that were so evocative"
