The family has a built-in order: stance first, archive-bar scorecards second, daily routing third, then add-on stamps only when their gates fire. That is how the documents themselves tell you to use them.

The Watchtower does one job: open the package, separate chaff from wheat, then you decide what to consume. Event is not package. Rejecting a card is not a finding that the thing did not happen.

0. Stance (always on)

This is the parent posture, not a scoresheet.

Habakkuk 2:1: stand on the rampart.

Vertical, not horizontal.

Primary evidence over consensus.

Map incentives.

Resist baseline drift.

Decouple pathos from structure.

Keep station.

When best to use: before any other tool. Use it as the standing watch, not as a grade. Education is the worked case because that is where micro-dosing (ERCP) is most durable, but the five principles apply everywhere.

1. Archive-bar Watchtowers (August 2026)

These ask a high question: does this object meet Sovereign Standard as originally defined? Four domains, 25% each. Bands: 90–100 Consume & Archive; 70–89 Reject & Cross-Examine; 0–69 Blue Book Subversion.

Use these when you are filing a record, not when you are routing a Thursday card. WWS later exists because this bar is too high for ordinary modern journalism as shipped.

1A. Generalized Media Watchtower

Domains: Structural Architecture & Semantic Sincerity → Information Routing & Middleman Insulation → Metric Verification & Accountability → Discernment / Agency Moats.

When best to use: any media report when the question is “is this archive-grade?” Comparative scorecard across outlets. Do not use as the daily routing tool.

1B. Legacy Media — Synthetic PR scan

Four indicators: coordinated sloganeering; invisible sponsor; problem–reaction–solution loop; de-platforming / moral outcasting.

When best to use: broadcasts, matching headlines, 24–48 hour phrase lockups across networks. Fast “is this a manufactured consensus event?” scan. If the object is one article with a dossier, prefer Generalized or WWS instead.

1C. Tabloid Watchtower

Same four-domain architecture, re-aimed at pathos method: emotional architecture, selective salience, narrative inflation, engagement optimization. Masthead does not matter. Prestige photography can still be tabloid technique.

When best to use: human-interest lockups, “heartbreak + photo + buried statute,” supermarket or Times. Four-indicator red-flag: pathos over legal baseline; controlling facts backgrounded; local fact inflated to irreversible tragedy; prestige used to launder compression.

1D. Scientific Publications Watchtower

Same four domains, rewritten for papers, preprints, reviews, meta-analyses, institutional science reports. Emphasizes operational definitions, open protocols, funding architecture, nulls, off-ramps, sunset of provisional claims.

When best to use: a paper, preprint, or “new study shows” package when you need a structural integrity score. Pair with 1E if the object is health-advice PR wearing a study. The scientific rubric is the deeper score; health-PR is the rapid detector.

1E. Synthetic PR in Modern Health Advice

Four stages: managed dependency; language inversion; suppression of unalterable baselines; funding / invisible middlemen.

When best to use: diet, drug, “lifelong maintenance,” “heart-healthy,” “longevity agent,” any advice with no off-ramp. Fast detector. If the object is the paper itself, escalate to 1D.

1F. Legislation Watchtower (original three dimensions)

Blue Book deflection → neutralize ERCP → immutable rock (hard metric + clawback).

When best to use: first-principles audit of a bill’s architecture. For whip cards, CRS one-pagers, and floor packaging, use WWS-L instead. Same split as Media Watchtower vs WWS.

2. Operational layer — route first, archive later

2A. Watchtower Working Standard (WWS) v1.0

Daily instrument for journalism. Two layers, never averaged:

AIS (Domains 1–3): routing number

PAS (Domain 4): packaging warning

AIS bands: 90–100 Archive Grade · 70–89 Usable First Look · 50–69 Cross-Examine · 0–49 Do Not Use as Record.

Five-minute flags R1–R7 (R8 lives on education packets): undefined load-bearing label; anonymous insulation; missing adverse ground; scope leap; middleman supplies the moral; card is the product; no path to primary.

When best to use: default start for any article, card, or beat. Identify the unit first (card ≠ body). Run flags. Score. Apply hard gates. Print AIS / PAS. Write the routing sentence (what to open next). Use original Generalized Watchtower only if you are asking the archive-bar question.

2B. WWS-L — Working Standard for Legislation

Same idea, legislative packet. LIS routes the text+report+CBO. FAS warns on whip/agency wrap. Flags L1–L7. Three dimensions from 1F, now scored.

When best to use: before a floor pledge. Score the wrap and the text as separate units. A bill can be LIS 18 as packaged and LIS 83 as audited. Vote the text. The one-pager is not the text.

3. Addenda — only after WWS exists and a gate opens

Do not open these for sport. Each has a run gate.

3A. Delivery-System Check (WWS 1.1 / ERCP family)

Maps pipes, not texts. No 90–70–0 band. Four pipes:

Need two of D1–D5 or write “Pipes not in season” and return to WWS.

When best to use: Layer C came back Dose or Course and the coat is arriving from outside the outlet (feed, HR, classroom, franchise); or the object is not an article; or the same line appears in two industries in one window. A news lockup is usually SERCT on a thin ERCP coat. A famous photo is not four pipes.

3B. Addendum C1.1 — Blind engagement / gist-write

Stamp: commenting, sharing, or teaching from headline + image + hook publishes the wrap as memory. Doorway ≠ dossier.

When best to use: after C1 is lawful (R6 = Y: the distributed object is the card). Expected next act is comment / share / react / teaching-order. If you will not run routing, do not comment. Does not clear E1.

3C. Addendum E1 — Pareto / rank-order (education packets)

Facts can be true and the order still be the payload. Pareto swap: vital few demoted, decorative first item promoted, often licensed by “harm to children” with no dossier.

When best to use: unit tells teachers what to lead with, what to de-emphasize, or that the old first lesson injures children. Name use-case, vital few, why the new lead is load-bearing. Fail the hard gate → stamp E1, do not consume as scope-and-sequence. Caps AIS for sequencing; does not replace D1–D3. R6 + R8 defaults Do Not Use as Record for order.

3C.1. Addendum W1 — Frame Window (polarity-as-warrant)

E1 names wrong-first order. W1 names why the new first item is allowed to go first. Binding only when the unit is already an E1 object and the new lead is licensed by a contemporary moral polarity rather than a causal claim inside the named use-case. W1 without E1 is a comment. C1.1 does not clear W1. W1 does not clear E1.

3D. Addendum TH1 — Triad & Hole

Two checks:

Triad: Ironic / Recursive / Moronic (self-defeat of a live record-claim)

Hole: is the outlet still digging on Clock 3 while shipping Clock 1?

Clocks: 1 doorway (hours) · 2 body (daily) · 3 record-claim (docket / “independent record” / corrections desk).

When best to use: WWS scoresheet already exists; a Clock-3 claim is live; unit looks self-defeating. Default print if PAS 0–39 and Clock 3 is live. Do not use a dirty card to veto a clean body. Record-claim ≠ doorway. Do not merge the clocks.

3E. Addendum K1 — Station ledger (promotion lock)

Count clocks. Do not name the building. K1 is a watch-file ledger of reviewed objects from the same masthead or franchise. It does not change AIS or PAS. It does not cap E1. It does not print on the card or the logo.

When best to use: after two or more WWS scoresheets exist on the same shop, and the live question is whether the cluster is Coat, Dose, Course, or the Blue Book. Need both gates or write “K1 not in season.” Rows carry E1 / W1 / Layer C / D-gate / ERCP duration / AERCT closed. Cluster line is a label, not a 90–70–0 score. Promotion lock: Coat cluster stays a teachers warning; Dose-candidate may open 3A; architecture stays unopened until Dose + AERCT Dominant + catalog-wide rank rule + metric insulation. Package ≠ dose ≠ course ≠ Blue Book. Do not print a pill sticker.

3F. Addendum P1 — Civic diagnosis / authority primer

Parent: WWS v1.0.

Layer: A-adjacent. P1 does not change AIS. It does not average into PAS.

P1 without a WWS scoresheet is a comment.

A primer is not a dossier. The unit asserts a single-cause danger to “democracy / the republic / the children / the homeland,” and an unbound diagnostic term does the causal work (disinformation, extremism, deep state, hate, the regime, the swamp). Prestige wrap (bestseller bug, network analyst, map-fist, “playbook”) often arrives before a corpus. Remedies may be implied — platforms, schools, prosecutors — without routing to the text of those remedies.

Gate (need any two, after WWS exists):

• single-cause danger to the polity or the children

• unbound diagnostic term doing causal work

• prestige wrap before a corpus

• remedies that shift power without a path to the remedy text

When best to use: book card, analyst paperback, civic “current read,” or any wrap that wants to be the first lesson for the republic. Print P1 as a use-stamp: do not consume as civic first lesson. Does not cap AIS further if AIS is already 0–49. Does not decide the book is false.

P1 does not clear E1. E1 does not clear P1. If the same object later tells teachers what to teach first, run E1 on that packet. C1 still governs the doorway. TH1 still governs self-defeat of a live record-claim. 3A still maps pipes. K1 still needs two sheets before anyone names the building.

Education is the wrong drawer. A Books Watchtower is overweight. Keep books under WWS + P1.

Not its job: partisan kill switch; “the other side is the real disinfo”; replace E1.

How to run an object through the family

Core refusals, shared across the family: no partisan scoring; no credit for emotional sincerity; institutional consensus is not evidence; event ≠ package; stamps come off a scoresheet, not a vibe. P1 names a use-class. It does not name a faction. The same gate that stamps a “disinformation” paperback stamps a “the regime / the swamp” paperback. Education is the wrong drawer for an adult civic primer.
