The Bottom of the Absurdity Pit

After Joe Biden sells preemptive pardons and national medals, as soon as DOGE starts to identify a massive fraud, activists judges across the country come up from the swamp to prevent its drainage.

DOGE is an existential threat to the corrupt politicians abd the 

swamp - the Swamp's response to the derailed Porkulous spending bill, has been typical Democrat: full of hate and envy, are void of ideas, so they encourage violence and mob rule, until they grab power, then, as Hilary Clinton might say, civility can return.

While we all knew corrupt politicians and the swamp would fight DOGE tooth and nail, few of us can't believe what we are seeing. Instead of politicians at least giving lip service to the fight against corruption, they are shooting the messenger: they want to destroy the evidence so the graft can continue.

The FBI revealed that 5,000 out of its13,000 agents were assigned to the January 6th Insurrection Hoax, accusding them for what Democrats started to do during the #February3Insurrection.

February 7 marks the feast day of Austere, Poor, Barefooted Reformer, Saint Colette - A saint after Pope Francis' heart and patron saint of women seeking to conceive, expectant mothers, and sick children.

Saint Colette began her reform during the time of the Great Western Schism supported by Antipope Benedict XIII illustrating the old proverb: a sign of top intellect is the ability to make progress in the face of ambiguity.

Antipope Benedict XIII was in power from 1394 to 1423. The Great Schism, or Western Schism, was a period in the 14th century when there were three people who claimed to be the pope of the Catholic Church. The schism lasted from 1378 to 1417.

The 15th century in general was a very difficult one for the Western Church. Abuses long neglected cost the Church dearly in the following century. Saint Colette’s reform indicated the entire Church’s need to follow Christ more closely.The schism was driven by political rivalries and allegiances, and weakened the reputation of the papacy.    Urban VI, Clement VII, and Alexander V competed for the title:   In 1378, Pope Urban VI was elected, but cardinals claimed the election was coerced.  Cardinals who opposed Urban VI elected Clement VII as a rival pope. Clement VII took up residence in Avignon where the Avignon Papacy was closely tied to the French monarchy. In 1409, the Council of Pisa elected a third pope.  The multi pope issue was resolved by  the.Council of Constance: The Council of Constance was held from 1414–1418. The council resolved that all three popes should abdicate and a new pope be elected.  The lection of Martin V: Martin V was elected pope, ending the schism

Saint Colette was born in the village of Corbie, in the Picardy region of France, on 13 January 1381to Robert Boellet, a poor carpenter and to his wife, Marguerite Moyon.

Her parents had grown old without having children, before praying to Saint Nicholas for help in having a child. Their prayers were answered when, at the age of 60, Marguerite gave birth to a daughter. Out of gratitude, they named the baby after the saint to whom they credited the miracle of her birth. She was affectionately called Nicolette by her parents, which soon came to be shorted to Colette, by which name she is known.

After her parents died in 1399, Colette joined the Beguines but found their manner of life unchallenging. Joining a Benedictine order to avoid an arranged marriage. In September 1402, Colette received the habit of the Third Order of St. Francis and became a hermit under the direction of the Abbot of Corbie, living near the abbey church. After four years of following this ascetic way of life (1402–1406), through several dreams and visions, she came to believe that she was being called to reform the Franciscan Second Order and to return it to its original Franciscan ideals of absolute poverty and austerity.

In October 1406, she turned to the Antipope Benedict XIII of Avignon who was recognized in France as the rightful pope. Benedict received her in Nice, in southern France, and allowed her to transfer to the Order of Poor Clares. Additionally, he empowered her through several papal bulls, issued between 1406 and 1412, to found new monasteries and to complete the reform of the Order.

With the approval of the Countess of Geneva and the aid of the Franciscan itinerant preacher, Henry de Beaume, her confessor and spiritual director), Colette began her work at Beaune, in the Diocese of Geneva. She remained there only a short time. In 1410, she opened her first monastery at Besançon, in an almost-abandoned house of Urbanist Poor Clares. From there, her reform spread to Auxonne (1412), to Poligny (1415), to Ghent (1412), to Heidelberg (1444), to Amiens, to Pont-à-Mousson in Lorraine, and to other communities of Poor Clares. During her lifetime 18 monasteries of her reform were founded. For the monasteries which followed her reform, she prescribed extreme poverty, going barefoot, and the observance of perpetual fasting and abstinence.

In addition to the strict rules of the Poor Clares, the Colettines follow their special Constitutions, approved in 1434 by the Minister General of the friars, William of Casale, and approved in 1448 by Pope Nicholas V, again in 1458 by Pope Pius II, and in 1482 by Pope Sixtus IV.

February 5th is feast of Saint Agatha. the patron saint of breast cancer patients, rape victims, martyrs, wet nurses, bell-founders, and bakers.  Saint Agatha refused the advances of Quintianus, the district's governor. So he reported her to the authorities. She was subsequently martyred.  Saint Agatha was put to death during the Decian persecution (250–253) in Catania, Sicily, for her determined profession of faith.

Saint Agatha was born in Catania, part of the Roman Province of Sicily, martyred c. 251. She is one of several virgin martyrs who are commemorated by name in the Canon of the Mass, including Saint Lucy aka Lucia of Syracuse (c. 283 – 304 AD). Saint Lucy, was a Roman Christian martyr who died during the Diocletianic Persecution: The early Christians were persecuted, throughout the Roman Empire during the Diocletianic Persecution and the Decian Persecution. While bith were periods of Roman persecution against Christians, the Diocletianic Persecution is considered the most severe and widespread, occurring under Emperor Diocletian in the early 4th century, whereas the Decian Persecution was a smaller-scale persecution under Emperor Decius in the mid 3rd century; essentially, Diocletian's persecution was more intense and widespread than Decius's

Lucia of Syracuse was honored in the Middle Ages and remained a well-known saint in early modern England. Saint Lucia, like Saint Agatha are two of the best known virgin martyrs, along with Agnes of Rome, Cecilia of Rome, and Catherine of Alexandria.

Saint Agatha was put to death during the Decian persecution (250–253) in Catania, Sicily, for her determined profession of faith.

Her written legend comprises "straightforward accounts of interrogation, torture, resistance, and triumph which constitute some of the earliest hagiographic literature", and are reflected in later recensions, the earliest surviving one being an illustrated late-10th-century passio.

According to the 13th-century Golden Legend (III.15) by Jacobus de Voragine, 15-year-old Agatha, from a rich and noble family, made a vow of virginity and rejected the amorous advances of the Roman prefect Quintianus, who thought he could force her to turn away from her vow and marry him. His persistent proposals were consistently spurned by Agatha. This was during the persecutions of Decius, so Quintianus, knowing she was a Christian, reported her to the authorities Quintianus himself was governor of the district.
Quintianus expected Agatha to give in to his demands when faced with torture and possible death, but Agatha simply reaffirmed her belief in God by praying: "Jesus Christ, Lord of all, you see my heart, you know my desires. Possess all that I am. I am your sheep: make me worthy to overcome the devil." To force her to change her mind, Quintianus sent Agatha to Aphrodisia, the keeper of a brothel, and had her imprisoned there; however, the punishment failed, with Agatha remaining a Christian.

Quintianus sent for Agatha again, arguing with her and threatening her, before finally having her imprisoned and tortured. She was stretched on a rack to be torn with iron hooks, burned with torches, and whipped. Her breasts were removed by tongs.

After further dramatic confrontations with Quintianus, represented in a sequence of dialogues in her passio that document her fortitude and steadfast devotion, Agatha was then sentenced to be burnt at the stake; however, an earthquake prevented this from happening, and she was instead sent to prison, where St. Peter the Apostle appeared to her and healed her wounds.
Agatha died in prison, probably in the year 251 according to the Legenda Aurea. Although the martyrdom of Agatha is authenticated, and her veneration as a saint had spread beyond her native place even in antiquity, there is no reliable information concerning the details of her death.

The Modern Christian Persecution

High Crime Rate Mystery Solved

Feast of Saint Blaise, Bishop and Cappadocia Martyr

Agricolaus, governor of Cappadocia, tried to persuade Blaise to sacrifice to pagan idols. The first time Blaise refused, he was beaten. The next time he was suspended from a tree and his flesh torn with iron combs or rakes. Finally, he was beheaded.

February 3 marks the feast of Saint Blaise. Saint Blaise of Sebaste was a fourth century physician and bishop of Sebastea in historical Lesser Armenia, modern Sivas, Turkey, venerated as a saint, a martyr, he is counted as one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers and is patron saint of wool combers and of sufferers from ENT illnesses.

According to the Acta Sanctorum, he was  beaten, tortured with iron combs, and beheaded.

The first reference to Blaise is the medical writings of Aëtius Amidenus (c. AD 500) where his aid is invoked in treating patients with objects stuck in the throat.


Marco Polo reported on the place where "Messer Saint Blaise obtained the glorious crown of martyrdom", Sebastea

As bishop of Sebastea, Blaise instructed people as much by his example as by his words, and his great virtues and his sanctity were attested by many miracles. People were said to flock to him for cures of bodily and spiritual ills. He is said to have healed animals, who came to him on their own for his assistance, and in turn to have been helped by animals.


In 316 the governor of Cappadocia and Lesser Armenia, Agricola, began a persecution of him by order of the Emperor Licinius, and Blaise was seized. After his interrogation and a severe scourging, he was imprisoned and subsequently beheaded.

The legendary Acts of St Blaise were written 400 years after his death. According to the Acts, as the governor's men led Blaise back to Sebastea, on the way, they met a poor woman whose pig had been seized by a wolf. At the command of Blaise, the wolf restored the pig to its owner, alive and unhurt. 8.7

Also, according to the acts. Blaise was a good bishop, working hard to encourage the spiritual and physical health of his people. Although the Edict of Toleration (311), granting freedom of worship in the Roman Empire, was already five years old, persecution still raged in Armenia. Blaise was apparently forced to flee to the back country. There he lived as a hermit in solitude and prayer, but he made friends with the wild animals. One day a group of hunters seeking wild animals for the amphitheater stumbled upon Blaise’s cave. They were first surprised and then frightened. The bishop was kneeling in prayer surrounded by patiently waiting wolves, lions and bears.

As the hunters hauled Blaise off to prison, a mother came with her young son who had a fish bone lodged in his throat. At Blaise’s command the child was able to cough up the bone.

Provide staff training on inclusive practices, cultural understanding, and equity-focused decisions to better support students and families.

Connect families with resources and services to meet their children’s unique needs.

Guide staff in having helpful conversations and addressing harmful or negative comments.

Here’s what we won’t do:

We don’t tolerate discrimination of any kind—whether based on immigration status, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability, or other characteristics.

We don’t ask for or keep information about students’ or families’ immigration status.

We won’t grant access to schools or student records to immigration officials without a legally binding warrant or court order, which must first be reviewed by the superintendent or legal counsel.

We believe diversity strengthens our schools and helps us grow as a community. Together, we’ll continue to make Camas schools a place where every student feels seen, valued, and supported to thrive.

This is in addition to the $6.2 billion the Pentagon couldn't properly track. The same amount the Reuters' 'fact checkers' report the Pentagon did not 'accidentally' send $6.2 billion to Ukraine.
