PBS' Analysis of The Power Of Satire is a Misnomer. Should be the Power of Blue Satire.

PBS recently examined the power of satire through a featured segment on PBS NewsHour and an episode of Judy Woodruff’s podcast, In Pursuit of Happiness. The discussion featured Joshua Johnson from The Onion Network and scholar Sophia McClennen from Penn State University, who explored how humor acts as a vital tool for accountability, sense-making, and democratic resilience
It's the Power of Blue Satire

But for a free society to prosper, a marketplace of ideas is required, coupled with vigorous debate, the best ideas emerge victorious. That’s how America became the world’s standard and the envy of the world.
Because the Democrat Coalition is the biggest Intellectual Inbreeding political organization in the world - no dissent allowed! @RepMcGovern shows that Democrats are the party of hatred, envy, jealousy terrorism and degenerates, enabled by 6,000 plus 'journalists' members of the Global Circular Reporting Mafia Ring led by the Atheist, Antisemitic, AntiChristian NYT and previously funded by Samantha Power's USAID and Soros.

CS Lewis wrote, "We all want progress. But progress means getting nearer to the place where you want to be. And if you have taken a wrong turning then to go forward does not get you any nearer...There is nothing progressive about being pig-headed and refusing to admit a mistake".

As Aristotle might say: Only those who have been well brought up can usefully study American Exceptionalism: to the corrupted man, the man who stands outside the Tao, the very starting point of this science is invisible. He may be hostile, but he , be critical: he does not know what is being discussed.

Democrats are not only outside the Tao, they are fighting against the Tao.

As Margaret Thatcher might say, "Europe was created by history." America was created by God." Democrats, Muslims, Communists, Authoritative regimes' values are not compatible with American core culture. You can work to make a more perfect union, not to fundamentally transform it, as you so often argued.

Key Takeaways from the PBS Discussion
• Measuring Democratic Strength: A nation's tolerance for satire directly reflects its democratic resilience. Strong democracies tolerate criticism in the form of laughter, which requires leaders to put civic ideals before personal egos.

• Community and Shared Sanity: Satire provides a sense of connection in a chaotic political environment. As Joshua Johnson noted on PBS News, it reassures individuals that others share their perspectives and values, proving there is "sanity within" an seemingly insane culture.

• A Tool for Accountability: Laughter serves as a nonpartisan vehicle to chip away at the frustrations of nation-building. It shrinks massive, overwhelming societal issues into palatable concepts that people can easily process and mock.

• The Consequence of Suppression: Historically, an inability to criticize power has led to severe political consequences. While American satire is heavily protected by the First Amendment, satirists in autocratic regimes face severe censorship, arrest, or exile.
• Bypassing Censorship: When official speech is restricted, artists rely on "in-character satire" and increased creative subversion to bypass filters and critique authoritative figures.

Power of Blue Satire: It's the Rule

Forget the power of Satire. It's the Power of Blue Satire: It's the Rule.

It's the Pareto Rule of Social Media: Some 10% of users are responsible for 90% of content, often using misleading and or plain misinformation. These are Democrats

Over 90% of students lean left

Over 90% of Faculty leans left.

The CotoBuzz Journal has been using satire since its founding and so far its been banned from every social media platform. The last one is Grok. Why? For AI-assisted satire to show democrats' Coordinated Inauthentic Behavior.

The charge? Using Coordinated Inauthentic Behavior!

Satire is very powerful- if you use it to promote Socialist causes

Not unlike

Mehdi Hasan, doesn't know if he's Indian, British, American or Iranian,

And doesn't know if he's a real Muslim.

Racks up the most IPS (Insults/Second) against President Trump.

But gets riled up when anyone critizes him and retorts with "bigot, Racist, Islamophobic....:

Hasan is a prolific X user as described by the Pareto Rule of Social Media aka the 90-10 Rule: a Small share of highly active Twitter users, the majority of whom are Democrats, produce bulk of tweets from U.S. adults.

The majority of Mehdi Hasan's posts are either misleading, or insults, but readily complains when he believes he's being insulted

And doesn't know if he is a Muslim: he mourns the death of Khamenei, hurls 100s of insults a second but gets insulted at every comeback
