Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – On a vote on the US
National Debt Ceiling showdown, July 28. 2011, Nancy Pelosi’s hyperbole reached a new low arguing that
she was trying to save the planet for the apes: "What
we're trying to do is save the world from the Republican budget. We're trying
to save life on this planet as we know it today."
Eventually
she not only voted for a compromise bill but also, in a less than convincing
voice ask her Left Wing comrades to vote their conscience. Does this mean that not even Pelosi believed
her own hyperbole, or is this simply senility?
