UCI's Boneheaded Approach to Safety - Redux

Posted by CotoBuzz

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA -  We previously asserted that the UCI office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity is making an excellent impression of the typical parasitic bureaucracies, at least when it comes to public safety.  However, we wanted to give the  organization an opportunity to identify flaws in our reasoning, so we asked Chief Risk Officer Grace Crickette to comment on our story.

For that matter we asked Ms. Grace’s boss, EVP  Chief Financial Officer Peter J. Taylor and Gecole Harley, the person submitting the request to teach Spanish to UCI supervisors, to give us their perspectives.

The deadline has passed and we have yet to hear from anyone.  Reminds us of the advice often given to diplomats.  Be careful about what you do say, speak louder than what you do say.

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA- We continue to make the argument that public sector unions are not only an anachronism but also a major contributor to the country’s malaise.  Further, we make the argument that private sector unions are not bad.  However, politicians, lobbyists and parasitic bureaucracies have  bastardized the movement so much so, that the current approach to labor is economically and politically unsustainable.

You may recall the infamous encounter between Alice and the Cat in Wonderland:
"Cheshire-Puss, would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?", asks Alice
"That depends a great deal on where you want to get to"  said the Cat
"I don't much care where -," said Alice.
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go," said the Cat.
Sounds eerily familiar to what is going on in ObamaLand.
