Coto de Caza, CA - California businessman and author of the book The FICO Hoax, Secrets Revealed William Kirkendale charged that the FICO VANTAGE credit scoring business is nothing more than a gigantic fraud and scam on the American public.
He likens it to the days of the Joe McCarthy Hollywood blacklist era when people's good names and reputations were being ruined and destroyed by spurious false accusations and slanderous personal attacks on a person's character, reputation and loyalty to their country.
He goes on to say that “today the universal use and misuse of FICO VANTAGE credit scores by almost everybody is doing the same thing to people. It is destroying their good name and reputations by making libelous and slanderous false accusations about their creditworthiness. If you don't pay a parking ticket you will be scored as a poor credit risk by two companies motivated only by money and greed. The Fair Isaac Company and the Vantage credit scoring company.”

In his new book entitled The Great FICO Hoax, Mr. Kirkendale accuses these two companies of massive fraud and deception. He even goes so far as to call them the greatest fraud and scam in American history.
