Coto de Caza, CA – According to a notice from the US Postal Service, Coto de Caza Mailboxes
“may have recently experienced the theft of US Mail. We do not know how widespread the problem may be at this time..”
The notice also recommends that if “you have become aware of
fraudulent activity on any bank account, credit card, check or other fraud or
identity theft, as a result of mailbox being stolen, please report it to the US
Postal Inspection Service at 877-876-2455.”
We continue to argue that the Coto de Caza Gate Access Process Does Not
Prevent Crime of Opportunity, Rather it Provides an Opportunity for Crime-
This notice seems to support our argument.
