According to PLI, Elvis Chan is an Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) assigned to FBI San Francisco. ASAC Chan manages the field office’s Cyber Branch, which is responsible for cyber investigations, digital forensics, technical operations, community engagement, and public affairs. With over 16 years in the Bureau, he is a decorated agent who is recognized within the Intelligence Community as an election cybersecurity and cyberterrorism expert


ASAC Chan earned his bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and chemistry from the University of Washington and his master’s degree in homeland security studies from the Naval Postgraduate School.


Strangely enough, ADAC Chan went AWOL on the FBI's 2022 Election Day Program. You might recall that prior to the election, the FBI warned, and mainstream media quickly magnified, concerns of threats against election workers, volunteers, and officials, because according to the FBI, free and fair elections are the cornerstone of American democracy. Individuals who oversee and participate in the administration of elections, including poll workers, volunteers, and election officers, help safeguard the integrity of the democratic process. According to AG, Chan is the FBI agent who organized weekly meetings with Big Tech and whose postgraduate thesis claimed Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump. AG writes Chan is the "FBI agent based in the Silicon Valley and working with social media companies to censor what you see on their platforms has a long history of blocking and tackling for his Democratic bosses"
