Opinionated Research Methodology Approved

#SATIRE

There are two primary dissertation research methods: Qualitative and quantitative.
Qualitative. Qualitative research focuses on examining the topic via cultural phenomena, human behavior, or belief systems. ...
Quantitative. Quantitative research involves the empirical investigation of observable and measurable variables

A third research methodology titled Opinionated research (OR) , based on Columbia University's groundbreaking Pulitzer Prizes issued to WaPo & NYT for Fake News, has now been approved and is being implemented across the University SystemThe Naval Postgraduate School is one of the first institutions to award a postgraduate degree based on OR methodology Elvis Chan. Elvis Chan's postgraduate thesis claimed Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help President Donald Trump

According to PLI, Elvis Chan is an Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) assigned to FBI San Francisco. ASAC Chan manages the field office’s Cyber Branch, which is responsible for cyber investigations, digital forensics, technical operations, community engagement, and public affairs. With over 16 years in the Bureau, he is a decorated agent who is recognized within the Intelligence Community as an election cybersecurity and cyberterrorism expert

ASAC Chan earned his bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and chemistry from the University of Washington and his master’s degree in homeland security studies from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Strangely enough, ADAC Chan went AWOL on the FBI's 2022 Election Day Program. You might recall that prior to the election, the FBI warned, and mainstream media quickly magnified, concerns of threats against election workers, volunteers, and officials, because according to the FBI, free and fair elections are the cornerstone of American democracy. Individuals who oversee and participate in the administration of elections, including poll workers, volunteers, and election officers, help safeguard the integrity of the democratic process. Yet, the FBI neglected to mention the biggest & likelier threat to election integrity - The Inside Threat: Remember Maricopa County? - As the Brief reports: Leaked Email Shows Contact Between Hobbs, Twitter Staff to Censor ‘Election Related Misinformation’

According to AG, Chan is the FBI agent who organized weekly meetings with Big Tech and whose postgraduate thesis claimed Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump. AG writes Chan is the "FBI agent based in the Silicon Valley and working with social media companies to censor what you see on their platforms has a long history of blocking and tackling for his Democratic bosses"

Former Massachusetts State Police union (SPAM) President & Lobbyist Convicted of RICO Charges

Another illustration Of How Insiders can Commit Any Crime, Including Voter Fraud.

These defendants cared more about enriching themselves through a series of bribes and kickbacks- Joleen D. Simpson. And taint the good name of law enforcement agent

BOSTON – Yesterday, the former President of the State Police Association of Massachusetts (SPAM) and the union’s former Massachusetts lobbyist, Dana A. Pullman, 60, of Worcester, and Anne M. Lynch, 71, of Hull, were convicted of racketeering, fraud, obstruction of justice and tax crimes.

SPAM is an association consisting of more than 1,500 Troopers and Sergeants from the Massachusetts State Police (MSP). SPAM acts as the exclusive bargaining agent between its members and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts regarding the terms and conditions of SPAM members’ employment.

Pullman, who was an MSP trooper from 1987 to 2018, was the President of SPAM from 2012 until his resignation on Sept. 28, 2018. Lynch’s lobbying firm represented SPAM during the same time period, in exchange for monthly retainer payments.

From at least 2012 until Pullman resigned as the President in September 2018, Pullman and Lynch turned SPAM into a racketeering enterprise, using Pullman’s position and power to defraud SPAM. Pullman and Lynch defrauded SPAM members and the Commonwealth of their right to honest services when Lynch paid Pullman a $20,000 kickback in connection with a settlement agreement between SPAM and the Commonwealth.

Insider Scheme, The Entombment Method

insiders with a motive can commit any crime. Including voter fraud. This is done in a number of ways: Hacktivism, overcoming the Account Payable, Accounts Receivable Obstacle (AP/AR) obstacle, Plausible Deniability, Algorithms, Brute force, Lie & Deny, entombment & so on Just today, Milwaukee Election Commission official Kimberly Zapata charged with felony and misdemeanor counts over fraudulent military ballots.  I have dozens of examples of insiders abusing the system, yet DOJ/FBI/MSM seem to disregard it

In this case, Pullman and Lynch defrauded two different companies that sought to do business with the MSP by hiding from the vendors the fact that Lynch was paying Pullman to direct vendors to use Lynch’s services. The defendants hid the payments from Lynch and her lobbying firm to Pullman in a manner designed to avoid reporting and paying taxes on that income to the IRS

Insider Scheme, The Lie & Deny Method

Pullman and Lynch also attempted to obstruct the grand jury’s investigation of this matter by manipulating subpoenaed records, and Lynch attempted to obstruct the grand jury’s investigation by lying to investigators.

Insider Scheme, The Brute Force Method

Additionally, Pullman embezzled and misused SPAM funds for personal use by using a debit card tied to a SPAM bank account to pay for thousands of dollars of meals and travel for an individual with whom Pullman was having a romantic relationship. “Instead of honestly representing the interests of the more than 1,500 Massachusetts law enforcement professionals, these defendants cared more about enriching themselves through a series of bribes and kickbacks. Today’s guilty verdict affirms that their actions violated the trust given to them and this conduct will not go unpunished,” said Joleen D. Simpson, Special Agent in Charge of Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigation, Boston Field Office.

The DOJ/FBI Expands the Election Integrity Narrative With 2022 Election Day Program - Inside Threat Not Addressed

You might recall that last week, the FBI warned, and mainstream media quickly jumped on it,  about threats against election workers, volunteers & officials, because according to the FBI, free and fair elections are the cornerstone of American democracy. Individuals who oversee and participate in the administration of elections, including poll workers, volunteers, and election officers, help safeguard the integrity of the democratic process.  Specific examples of election workers identified by the DOJ in the warning, it includes:

  • A Secretary of State or someone in their staff
  • An employee of a state or county’s board of elections
  • An individual volunteering at polling stations
  • Clerks handling and counting casted ballots

And according to the Department of Justice, the DOJ in close partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, established the Threats to Election Workers Task Force (Task Force) to identify, mitigate, and investigate reports of threats targeting election workers. The Task Force receives and assesses reports of threats targeting election workers to determine next steps, in consultation with the Department of Justice.

While the mainstream media pounced on the Election Integrity narrative with vanilla headlines and without asking a single question.  At first it appeared there were no takers.  As the day progressed, the media did pick up the story with the headlines designed to provide what their audience wanted to hear:  Like WVNCTV “Program ready to stop Fraud, protect rights.” Or KCRG’s “Election Day Program Seeks to Thwart Voting Discrimination and Intimidation.”  On closer examination, we noticed that the press releases coming from the Department of Justice announcing the Election Day Program all had similar headlines: United States Attorney Announces Election Day Program, except that the one coming out from the Southern District of West Virginia reads as follows: United States Attorney's Office Implements Election Day Program to Stop Fraud and Protect Voting Rights. Why only Virginia?

We faulted last week’s FBI's  warnings for not addressing the higher risk vulnerability:  The Inside Threat

Vanilla Headlines

Today’s 2022 Election Day Program advances the narrative, and still falls short. as it states that the DOJ  has an important role in deterring and combatting discrimination and intimidation at the polls, threats of violence directed at election officials and poll workers, and election fraud.  The Department will address these violations wherever they occur.  The Department’s longstanding Election Day Program furthers these goals and also seeks to ensure public confidence in the electoral process. Federal law protects against such crimes as threatening violence against election officials or staff, intimidating or bribing voters, buying and selling votes, impersonating voters, altering vote tallies, stuffing ballot boxes, and marking ballots for voters against their wishes or without their input.  It also contains special protections for the rights of voters, and provides that they can vote free from interference, including intimidation, and other acts designed to prevent or discourage people from voting or voting for the candidate of their choice.

Election Day Program Headlines

As the DOJ seeks to ensure public confidence in the electoral process, we get the news that no one involved on the Dirty Russia Dossie designed to interfere with the 2016 elections has been held to account. Just yesterday, IgorDanchenko accused of lying to the FBI about his role in the creation of the dossier was acquired. The third case brought by Special Counsel John Durham as part of his probe into how the FBI conducted its own investigation into allegations of collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and the Kremlin. Recall the FBI offered Christopher Steele $1 million to prove the dossier claims. Then there is the FBI's tone deaf Trust In Me Public Service Announcement.

“Ensuring free and fair elections depends in large part on the assistance of the American electorate. It is important that those who have specific information about voting rights concerns or election fraud make that information available to the Department of Justice,” said United States Attorney Will Thompson.  He added  “The franchise is the cornerstone of American democracy,” Thompson said. “We all must ensure that those who are entitled to the franchise can exercise it if they choose, and that those who seek to corrupt it are brought to justice.  In order to respond to complaints of voting rights concerns and election fraud during the upcoming election, and to ensure that such complaints are directed to the appropriate authorities, AUSA Goes will be on duty in this District while the polls are open. He can be reached by the public at

In case of a crime of violence or intimidation, you are advised to call 911 immediately and before contacting federal authorities. State and local police have primary jurisdiction over polling places, and almost always have faster reaction capacity in an emergency.

As we like to say often, A Security professional’s worse nightmare is Insiders with Motive. Insiders with Motive have #MOM – Motive, Opportunity & Means to commit any crime, including voter fraud, A motive can be money, power, revenge, jealousy, political partisanship and so on. Earlier this year the FBI issued a warning titled “Mitigating Threats Posed by Russian State-Sponsored Cyber Actors’ Exploitation of Default Multifactor Authentication Protocol and “PrintNightmare” Vulnerability” encouraging all organizations to take enable, enforce, and properly configure MFA as well as prioritize patching of known exploited vulnerabilities. Yet Dr. Anna Gabrielian, Johns Hopkins anesthesiologist, and Major Jamie Lee Henry, US Army, Fort Bragg, NC., were indicted for trying to provide medical information about U.S. military members to the Russian Federation.  The takeaway is that anyone in the election process, from United Postal Service Workers to, IT workers, Electoral Registration Forms Officials, if not monitored properly, can create the most damage and we do not see the DOJ/FBI actively protect against this threat.

FBI Warns about Election Workers - Ignores Inside Threat

The FBI Cautions About Threats to Election Workers Ahead of the November 2022 Midterm Elections, as well it should and mainstream media eats it up line, hook and sinker without asking a single question

Output from simple Google search

According to the FBI, free and fair elections are the cornerstone of American democracy. Individuals who oversee and participate in the administration of elections to include poll workers, volunteers, and election officers, help safeguard the integrity of the democratic process. The FBI continues to prioritize identifying, mitigating, and investigating threats targeting election workers and provides the following information to assist the public in reporting threats of violence against election workers, While we applaud the FBI's concern, we argue the FBI is not prioritizing the number one vulnerability in the Democratic process: The Inside Threat. A Security professionals worse nightmare is Insiders with Motive. Insiders with Motive have #MOM - Motive, Opportunity & Means to commit any crime, including voter fraud, A motive can be money, power, revenge, jealousy, political partisanship and so on.

Also earlier this year Chenyan Wu and Lianchun Chen, a married couple who worked as research scientists for a major American pharmaceutical company, pleaded guilty to criminal charges stemming from their efforts to gather confidential mRNA research from that company to advance the husband’s competing laboratory research in China. Yet another example of the Inside Threat. In April 2021, a federal jury convicted Chemist Dr. Xiaorong You of conspiracy to commit trade secret theft, conspiracy to commit economic espionage, possession of stolen trade secrets, economic espionage, and wire fraud in a classic case of an insider Job.

You may recall that In 2013, Snowden was hired by an NSA contractor, Booz Allen Hamilton, after previous Snowden says he gradually became disillusioned with the programs with which he was involved, and that he tried to raise his ethical concerns through internal channels but was ignored. When Edward Snowden stole the crown jewels of the National Security Agency, all he needed, was a few thumb drives and the willingness to exploit a gaping hole in an antiquated security system to rummage at will through the NSA’s servers and take 20,000 documents without leaving a trace. And earlier this year Mark Robert Unkenholz of Hanover Maryland was indicted for willful transmission and retention of National Defense Information (NDI).

Most recently the conviction of Joseph Sullivan, Uber’s Chief Security Officer illustrates the inside threat as well as the proposed cyber paradigm change: The higher the trust level, the lower the trust. Within days of being hired, Sullivan was involved in a data breach cover up.

On April 27, 2022 FBI Director Christopher Wray illustrated the extent of the Chinese threat, Wray says that of the 56 field offices the FBI has across the country, every single one has cases on the Chinese government’s attempts to steal U.S.-based information and technology, use intelligence officers, hackers, front companies, seemingly benign joint ventures or research partnerships and recruiting employees who use their legitimate access to steal corporate secrets, what we all refer to as “insider threats.” While we have been urging the FBI to address the insidious Inside Threat for years, this is the first time we see Director Wray address it - indirectly. For instance, Inside Threat was conspicuously absent in the FBI 2021 Internet Crime, even though Rachel Rojas, heads up the Bureau’s Insider Threat Office

The old proverb applies to elections integrity:  It does not matter who votes, but who counts the votes. By this time, a cynic might ask, given all these indictment, if there were any insiders committing fraud, wouldn't they have been outed by now?  Perhaps, but now its my turn to be skeptical.  Remind me again which prominent progressive (redacted)  has been held to account for the voting irregularities, Russia Hoax, Ukraine Hoax, corruption or any other trespass? Like destroying email server and smart phones, withholding Hunter Biden's PC evidence. To date, not a single John in Ghislaine Noelle Marion Maxwell's black book has either been leaked to the press or raided by the FBI  When considering that even the SCOTUS' Roe v Wade Decision was leaked do you really believe that the Insider Threat is not a threat to the democratic process?
