Rage-Bait Predator Self-Check Checklist
Use this as a diagnostic. If multiple items fit your posting habits, you are likely feeding (or running) the outrage machine.Core Indicators
[ ] You rely on memes to preach in place of Sacred Scriptures, primary sources, or full context.[ ] You use oxymorons or loaded contradictions primarily to slam Christianity (or another faith).
[ ] You create or share memes that invoke the name of Jesus / God mainly for shock, mockery, or tribal scoring.
[ ] You deploy “race card” memes as a default rhetorical weapon.
[ ] You repeatedly use invalid syllogisms or obvious logical fallacies.
[ ] You post celebrity-quote memes mainly to attack political opponents.
[ ] You circulate memes or memos whose primary purpose is to slam Christianity (or a rival ideology).
Expanded Tactics
[ ] You crop video or audio mid-sentence to fabricate outrage.
Why: Context-stripping forces a false narrative before viewers can hear the full thought.
[ ] You use AI-generated images, voice deepfakes, or synthetic media to mock, slander, or manufacture scandals.
Why: Synthetic outrage bypasses reality and is engineered for viral emotional reaction.
[ ] You weaponize grief or tragedy within minutes of a national or local event to push an agenda.
Why: It converts genuine suffering into algorithmic engagement before facts are known.
[ ] You frame every theological difference as “demonic heresy” or every political disagreement as “fascism” (or equivalent absolute evil).
Why: Catastrophizing language forces fight-or-flight and shuts down dialogue.
[ ] You deliberately post misquoted or fake attributions of historic figures to justify contemporary hatred.
Why: Hijacking historical authority gives intellectual dishonesty a veneer of legitimacy.
[ ] You post bad-faith “rage farming” questions designed only to provoke emotional backlash.
Why: The goal is harvesting angry replies for visibility, not inquiry.
[ ] You use loaded, dehumanizing buzzwords (“groomer,” “traitor,” “libtard,” “chud,” etc.) to label entire demographics.
Why: Dehumanizing language turns people into targets and signals that cruelty is justified.
[ ] You screenshot an anonymous or low-engagement post and present it as “what the left/right believes.”
Why: Nutpicking elevates fringe takes to paint whole groups as unhinged (false polarization).
Quick Scoring Guide
0–1 items: Ordinary online irritation or occasional poor judgment.2–4 items: You are regularly participating in or amplifying rage-bait.
5+ items: Strong pattern of rage-bait predator behavior (intentional or habitual).
Counter-measures (if you want to starve the algorithm)
Apply the Friction Rule: if a post makes your blood boil instantly, do not share or comment right away.
Demand context: reject single-image memes and decontextualized clips as sufficient evidence.
Reward depth: deliberately engage with longer, more careful arguments instead of snappy outrage.
Ultimately, rage-bait only works as long as we supply the outrage. Starving the algorithm means reclaiming our capacity for slow, patient, and rational thought.
