Flying High In Coto de Caza

Flying High In Coto de Caza
July 14, 2007
“Air traffic controllers who watch over North Texas skies are repeatedly allowing airplanes to fly into situations that could result in a crash – and upper management is systematically shifting the blame to the pilots involved, according to an investigative federal agency” reads the July 12, 2007 article in the Dallas Morning News titled Air Traffic Cover-Up Alleged. The article quotes U.S. Special Counsel Scott Bloch, who heads the investigating agency "We're talking about a culture of fraud,….It's a pretty shocking saga of what is going on down there."
The CotoBuzz Journal has for years, been asking the CZ Master Association board of directors to adopt simple key business indicators to measure progress in combating crime, vandalism, prevent traffic collisions and otherwise promote public safety. Additionally, the Journal regularly publishes comprehensive public safety and whistleblower reports. Response from the board to date: Publish the Sheriff’s Blogger!
Given certain CZ Master Association board member’s position regarding direct elections (“the board would then have to be pro-active to prevent fraud”), recording of open board meetings (“remember the Nixon tapes?”), is it any wonder why the board has been adamantly opposed to measuring public safety progress? After all, residents are only being asked to pay $2,000,000.00/year for “security-not-really-security” purposes.
Wonder how Special Counsel Scott Bloch would characterize the culture in the CZ Master Association board of directors?
