Happy Fourth America! - Islamophobia, Zionphobia, Paranoia or Zeusophobia?
As for me and my house, as Patrick Henry said, give me liberty or give me death.
July 1, 2007
Since September 11, 2001, anti Muslim rhetoric has flooded the mainstream media while crimes and discrimination against individuals perceived to be of Muslim or Middle Eastern backgrounds continue to steadily increase, writes Zaid Shakur in the June 2007 issue of InFocus News. He continues to explain that “in response to the rise in Islamophobia, the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) launched an educational campaign entitled Truth over Fear: Countering Islamophobia”.
Today, the murderous anti-Semitic and anti-Christian spirit of Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin is being carried on by Iranian president Mahomoud Ahmadinejad. The conscious world has heard his call for the complete destruction of the Jewish state as he is feverishly seeking nuclear weapons being aided and abetted by Russia’s newest czar Putin, to accomplish the complete destruction of Israel and the United States. Ahmadinejad claims to be the apostle that will hasten the coming of the Mahdi within a few months, by obliterating Israel and the US.
Muslims Against Jihad", censored by the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) aired Sunday night in the FOX network. It was extremely well done and eye-opening.The documentary attempts to answer the question: "Why don't moderate Muslims speak out more against radical Muslim extremists?" - The documentary shows the reasons why, many of them are terrified and afraid to speak out because of what might happen to them. It showed many Muslims in Europe, especially Denmark, who would try to break away from Islamic extremism only to live in fear for their lives.
The Koran states: First of all guidance, advice, and admonition, then, banishment from the bed and then 'beat them'. When the Koran presented this verse, it did not present it for all cases, but for one case out of all ways of female behavior-the case of disobedience - This quote is taken directly from a clip that they showed that aired on an Islamic channel that Europeans were able to access from the Middle East. Basically, it says men don't beat your wife in all cases of bad behavior, only when she disobeys.
The historical perspective shown below, clearly demonstrate the hatred Islamofascists have for the US and Israel. So the question is: is it Islamophobia as Zaid Shakur asserts? Is it Zionphobia, Paranoia or Zeusophobia? Is to simply apathy ? What we know is that Islamofascists want to convert all us infidels by the sword. As for me and my house, as Patrick Henry said, give me liberty or give me death. Happy Fourth of July America, and thanks to the armed forces, some of who have paid the ultimate price for us to write what we write!
