Leavenworth, WA -  If you ask Icicle Creek Center for the Arts  if Camps are for kids, you might get this answer: Baloney!

In fact the Adult Piano Retreats are back at Icicle Creek from September 12-16 and October 10-14, sponsored by Fandrich & Sons Pianos and Karla Anderson, customized just for adults!

Icicle Creek Center for the Arts bills itself as a Destination for Extraordinary Performances And inspired Learning Experiences, dedicated to celebrating excellence in the lively arts and inspiring generations of students, artists and audiences through exceptional educational experiences, live performances, and special events - all in the breathtaking, natural setting of the mountain meadows.

The program is designed to include private practice, optional participation in master classes, lectures, special activities, social time, great food and a faculty concert.

Or as program Director, Lisa Bergman might say:  "Come as you are! No audition necessary! Stimulating and supportive, these retreats are fun and engaging for all levels. Treat yourself to four days bonding with the piano … and come with an appetite for great dining and recreation in a spectacular setting!”

Seattle Met proclaimed "Take a Piano Vacation in Leavenworth" - because these retreats offer adult, amateur pianists an exciting new opportunity to experience world-class instruction and performance in a retreat setting in the Cascade Mountains of Leavenworth, WA.

This year's faculty will include renowned artists including Program Director, Lisa Bergman, concert pianist, former artist in residence on music faculty at the University of Washington, and on-air personality on Seattle's KING FM radio; Oksana Ezhokina, Professor of Piano at Pacific Lutheran University; graduate of Northern Illinois University, Stony Brook University, NY; Jennifer Bowman, Pacific Lutheran University Faculty member; and graduate of Whitman College, Northern Illinois University and The Juilliard School; and William Chapman Nyaho concert pianist, graduate of Oxford University (UK), Eastman School and University of Texas, Austin.
