Coto de Caza, CA - another weekend, another non-reportable accident, another non-statistic.

This one happened between Saturday 5:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am.  Based on the evidence, the driver was going north on Vista del Verde, unable to maneuver what board-member Phil Mitchell might call, a NTSB-compliant 35 MPH sign.

The same curve  22 year-old  Franz Nalezny, was unable to maneuver January 31, 2014 ending in the third traffic fatality in the community, all under the current HOA board.

All evidence points to a speeding vehicle and or DUI driver, or both., but we may never know, since there are no signs the California Highway Patrol (CHP)  ever made it to the scene:  just like the proverbial fallen tree in the forest, if there is an accident in Coto de Caza and the CHP never shows up, it never happened!

Memorial to Franz Nalezny at the site of the accident Wishing Him Happy Birthday

Just like other previous similar accidents, there are no signs of the private security company, UPS -  we refer to as glorified meter maid: No yellow cautionary tapes, no markers, nothing that tells passers by that the case is being handled.  Nothing!  Zilch!

But as Mr. Mitchell might say, "public safety is a two way street.  The HOA takes care of its side of the street using NTSB-compliant signs, so it is the drivers fault"!

Fifth traffic accident in Coto de Caza in as many months within ½ mile of Golfer Crossing Signs

Coto de Caza, California - Another month, another damaged fence.  That makes it the third one in as many months, right at what CZ Master Association board member Mr. Phil Mitchell claims are CalTrans and NTSB compliant “golfer crossing” signs placed right in the middle of the most dangerous curve in the community.

Not a Good Memorial Day weekend Start in Coto de Caza - One Less Traffic Statistic

Coto de Caza, CA -  This is not a good start to the 2016 Coast-to-Coast Seat Belt Enforcement Ready For Memorial Day in Coto de Caza.    Despite the obvious NTSB-compliant signage at the Antonio Gate Exit in Coto de Caza,  it is not immediately evident whether the driver and the passenger of the dark blue Mercedez Benz below, had buckled up, what is clear is that for whatever reason the driver was not sure whether to turn right or keep going straight, so he/she split the difference and jumped the curve
